2020 Summer Internship
During my time at NUL I helped the SVP with communication efforts for both the Office of the General Counsel and WCRD, a network of senior executive women of color. My primary task was writing weekly newsletters for the group and evaluating a new platform to use for newsletter distribution and other group correspondence.
I put together a virtual event plan for the WCRD group including everything from vendor research to the run of show. Additionally, I created assets for the office of the general counsel such as a response template for advocacy request and a governance calendar graphic. After the internship, my supervisor even contracted me to create additional graphics to showcase the team’s performance metrics over the last few years.

This digital brand, currently in app development, hired me to create and execute its social media strategy on both twitter and Instagram. I’ve been able to organically build up brand awareness by identifying and engaging Panodime’s audience with the use of relevant content and hashtags. I handle the entire social media process from planning to content creation to engagement. I’ve created assets including content templates, planning schedules, and hashtag sets. Additionally I write a weekly email newsletter that includes top movie reviews and new releases most relevant to viewers.

I also created and executed a social media strategy for this brand in the luxury fashion space. For this client, I generated over 2,500 unique link clicks in under 2 months with a budget of $75. I was able to re-engage the audience after this brand went dormant for about a year.

I work for creative director Suki Jaafar as a personal assistant on projects and events she has in the NYC area. I assisted in the planning and execution of Sneaker Games, an interactive sneaker convention with over 5,000 attendees.
I helped her with everything from organizing the run of show to setting up displays and managing vendors. In preparation for the next Sneaker Games event in Miami, I conducted outreach to potential sponsors and complied a list of relevant vendors. I also assist Suki with administrative tasks and digital content for her clients including influencer outreach, flyers, product line sheets and social media content.

While working at this digital marketing agency, I brainstormed and created blog and website content based on each clients needs and relevant keyword research. I learned SEO best practices and applied them to blog posts and site pages for B2B clients in various industries. Additionally, I executed tactics to increase client referral traffic such as forum commenting and outreach to 3rd party publications for paid and organic opportunities.
